Friday, September 25, 6:00PM – No-Host Social

Get together for a relaxed social hangout at Final Draft Brewing Company (FDBC). There’s no agenda, no host, and no cover, just a chance to connect and enjoy good company. Feel free to drop in anytime between 6 pm and closing. If you’d like food or drinks, they’ll be available for purchase from the Bar. The best parking is across the street. Hope to see you there!

Saturday, September 26, 11:00AM – Shasta High School Walk-Through

Let’s meet up for a relaxed stroll through memory lane at our old high school and see how it’s changed over the years!

We’ll gather at 11:00 AM for a guided tour by SHS Principal Heath Bunton and take a walk through the campus. Don’t be late as we revisit familiar hallways and share a few memories along the way.

 

Saturday, September 26, 6:00PM – 50-year Reunion Dinner-Dance at the Red Lion

Our main reunion celebration will be a buffet dinner dance at the newly renovated Red Lion Hotel. Check‑in will open at 6:00 PM, giving everyone time to settle in, mingle, and ease into the evening. Dinner will be served promptly at 7:00 PM, followed by plenty of time to reconnect, reminisce, and enjoy the night together.

Tickets are priced at $76 per person to reflect our graduation year. (The cost of the reunion is more than that – but we are using prior reserves to cover our costs and keep it affordable.) Let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

We’re looking forward to a wonderful evening together. (Note – this event is also open to other classes who wish to attend.)

Sunday, September 27, 11:00AM – Family Picnic

We’re wrapping up the weekend with a relaxed family picnic on Sunday 11am – 2pm. Bring your favorite people, your favorite chairs, and anything else you’d like to enjoy outdoors. You can bring your own food, and a food truck will be available for food and drink purchases. This is an easygoing, come‑as‑you‑are gathering. No program, no pressure, no charge, just time to visit, unwind, and enjoy the day together. We’d love to see you there!

Guest Room Accommodations

Photo of a Room at the Red Lion HotelThe Red Lion is offering a special discounted room rate for our group on Friday and Saturday night. It’s a great way to keep the celebration going without worrying about the drive home.

To make a reservation, call (530) 221-8700 and tell them you’re with the “Shasta High School Class of ’76”. Reserve early to make sure you can get a room.

Rates per night are $132 for a single queen bed or $142 for a double queen or king-size bed. Room upgrades may be available, subject to availability and upgrade fees. The cutoff date for the discounted rates is September 15, but you probably want to reserve earlier to make sure there are rooms available.
